Notre Dame de Paris which means Our Lady of Paris has a treasury that houses some important relics in the Catholic faith. Some of them include the Crown of Thorns, fragments of the True Cross, and some other relics. The building is among the first of buildings in the world to use a flying buttress that supports the outside walls of the building towered up.
Eiffel Tower
When you want to have a view of Paris, then you need to ascend the height of Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower is a symbolic architectural edifice in Paris. This edifice was built by Gustave Eiffel to commemorate the centenary of the French Revolution. In 1889 it was presented at Exposition Universelle. The tower is among the most visited monuments in the world.
Montmartre
North of Paris is adorned with this beautiful hill that is 130 meters high. At the top, you will find the well known Basilica of the Sacred Heart which is white domed. The Basilica was completed in 1919 to honor the French Victims of Franco-Prussia war more than a century back. Also on the Montmartre hill beside a little distance away from the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, you will see the Square of Terter. In this square artists display their beautiful arts and painting. If you walk down a few steps away from Terter Square, you will encounter the Space Salvador Dali Museum which houses mainly the sculptures and paintings of the Spanish painters.
The Chateau de Versailles
This is the most famous castle in France which was built in the 17th century. The castle is decorated with great commodities.
